We would like to thank The Corner Bank for opening their venue to us. We had nine players out which was not bad considering the fridgid tempetures and some of our players up in Cambridge at the Pro/AM.

Our first Semi final found Will Hamilton up against Paul Penny, Will played very safe and pulled out a 3-1 win. In our second semi it was the battle of the young guns with Hussain Rahimi taking on Chris Chan, both playing with no fear the go for it attitude.  After four games they found them themselves down to one final game. Hussain pulled off the win and faced Will Hamilton in the finals.

The final outcome could have gone either way as both players found themselves in numerous snookers along with some good potting but the final outcome was a 3-1 victory for Hussain Rahimi.

Congratulation Hussain Rahimi

High Break also went to Hussain Rahimi with a 55 which came in his first match against Phil Snache where Hussain knocked off  R6 winner 3-2

We have one qualifier left Feb 27th at Frederick Billiards. Your last chance to battle into position to enable a trip to the Canadian Snooker Championship.
